Our UCA fraternity/sorority members give back to the state of Arkansas in variety of manners, including the support of the Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH). ACH’s Committee for the Future recently hosted a six (6) night Phone-A-Thon to help raise funds for the hospitals future expansions and treatments. These yearly Phone-A-Thons are what help ACH offer such high quality care to children and their families during their times of need.
Part of the Phone-A-Thon includes friendly competitions amongst various community groups to see who can raise the most money. The Delta Tau chapter of Sigma Kappa at UCA participated in the Phone-A-Thon and was able to raise $6,289 for ACH. By raising this much money, Sigma Kappa was ranked in the top three (3) teams for raising the most money during the Phone-A-Thon. Below are the standings from the event:

In total, ACH was about to raise over $64,000 in just six (6) short nights. This is a huge accomplishment for the hospital and the women of Delta Tau! Congratulations to these women for raising so much money for a cause that truly impacts the residents of Arkansas!
