This UCAGreeks Blog is intended to be a collaborative effort between OSL staff, students, alumni, campus partners, and community members. This blog is meant to encompass stories and updates from a wide range of sources and present them in an online forum. We are hoping that a wide array of individuals and groups will submit pieces to be presented on this blog. The types of content that we are looking to feature on the blog include, but are not limited to the following:
- Fraternity/sorority organizational, council, and community updates and news;
- Awards or recognition received by organizations, councils, or individuals;
- Stories about great things organizations and/or individuals have done;
- Pictures of fraternity/sorority members at events, in the community, or just having fun (appropriate and legal fun);
- Updates relating to fraternity/sorority alumni and their events and/or accomplishments; and
- General updates or stories about great things happening around campus that involve our fraternity/sorority members.
This blog will update the he UCA and Conway communities about what is really happening in the lives of our fraternity/sorority members and offer important news for current students and alumni. The UCAGreeks Blog will not post negative content, rumors, or opinions to our site because that content is not uplifting or beneficial to the overall purpose of the UCA fraternity/sorority community. Our blog will never hide factual news and updates, but it will not feature stories that are divisive to our students, their organizations, or the positive and holistic development of the UCA fraternity/sorority community. If you are interested in contributing to the UCAGreeks Blog, then please visit our “Submit a Story!” section to learn more.
We are very excited to launch the UCAGreeks Blog and update each of you with amazing content in a real-time, online forum. We hope that you enjoy reading the UCAGreeks Blog and we are thankful for your continued support of the UCA fraternity/sorority community.
Go Greek! Go Bears!
