Submit a Story!

GreeklogoDraft1Are you interested in contributing a story to the UCAGreeks Blog?  If so, then awesome because we would love to post what you have written!  Before you submit anything, please be sure to read below about the types of content we are looking to feature and submission guidelines.

Content we are looking to feature:

  1. Fraternity/sorority organizational, council, and community updates and news;
  2. Awards or recognition received by organizations, councils, or individuals;
  3. Stories about great things organizations and/or individuals have done;
  4. Pictures of fraternity/sorority members at events, in the community, or just having fun (appropriate and legal fun);
  5. Updates relating to fraternity/sorority alumni and their events and/or accomplishments; and
  6. General updates or stories about great things happening around campus that involve our fraternity/sorority members.

Content we will not feature:

  1. Promotions or stories about individual and/or organizational social events;
  2. Recruitment information about a specific group (council information is permitted);
  3. Promotions, sales, or marketing for businesses;
  4. Negative, harmful, or potentially threatening information about UCA, organizations, or individuals;
  5. Information that is not obscene or not in good taste; or
  6. Any content that violates the rules, regulations, constitutions, and bylaws or the State of Arkansas, UCA, or fraternity/sorority councils and organizations (inter-nationally or locally).

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Please submit all written work to your council advisor or to ucagreeks@gmail.com with any supporting media (pictures, graphics, or video).  Please submit all written work in plain text or Microsoft Word compatible formats.
  2. All content should be free of errors in grammar and punctuation.  All submissions must also be at a fifth grade reading level or higher.
  3. Content will be posted in a timely manner at the discretion of the Office of Student Life staff.
